Hey, I'm Juliana — everyone calls me Julie.
When I was 14, I got a cheap camera and just started going outside to look for birds. Almost every day, for about four years. I didn't think of it as a hobby, it was just what I did — up early, out on trails, trying to figure out what I was hearing before I ever saw it. Eventually life got in the way and I stopped for a while. Not on purpose, it just happened.
But it came back. And when it did, it felt like something I wanted to hold onto this time, so Bird's Journey started from that.
At its core, this brand is about one thing: making stuff for people who actually love birds, not just people who think a cardinal on a t-shirt looks nice. If you've ever stood still for way too long waiting for one bird to finally show itself, or gotten genuinely excited about a species you'd never seen before, you already know what I'm talking about. That feeling is the whole point.
Every design starts there — with an actual bird I care about, not just a shape that looks nice on a shirt. I'm not trying to build some huge brand. I just want to make things that birders are proud to wear — stuff that actually means something instead of being another generic bird graphic. Small, honest, made by someone who's actually out there.
